Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented 3D Design and Execution Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of our robotic systems and ensuring their manufacturability through CNC machining and 3D printing. You will work closely with our robotics engineers to bring designs to life, from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 3D models of robotic systems and components using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with robotics engineers to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Prepare 3D models for manufacturing using CNC machining and 3D printing technologies.
  • Conduct design reviews and simulations to verify design integrity and performance.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and production efficiency.
  • Oversee the production process and ensure quality control of manufactured parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues as they arise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies in 3D design and manufacturing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in 3D design and modeling using CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks).
  • Proficiency in CNC machining and 3D printing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in designing and manufacturing robotic systems or similar applications.
  • Familiarity with agricultural robotics or biotechnological applications.
  • Knowledge of advanced materials and manufacturing techniques.
